Guilfest 2011


On 15-17 July I photographed most of the main acts at Guilfest.  Friday was sunny until late evening, when the crowds started to build up.  There was heavy rain on Saturday, but only for two or three very short spells.  The evening ended in glorious sunshine, beamed straight into the faces of Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel.  Sunday was overcast with small showers occasionally, but the weather did not seem to stop anyone's fun, and amazingly, the grass stayed mostly green and not muddy.

My favourites were Razorlight, Steve Harley and Erasure - a strange mix, but then so was the festival.
