Purchases and refunds
We aim to supply top quality goods. CDs and DVDs are tested in a variety of PCs and DVD players. All printed material is supplied using high quality paper and ink. However, mistakes do sometimes happen. For example, one sealed CD case in a batch of 100 received from one of our suppliers was found to contain no CD!
If you find any problem with the goods that you have received please notify us within 7 days and we shall do one of the following:
Fo prints ordered through this web site you may cancel within seven days and receive a full refund, provided the goods have not been shipped. For CDs and DVDs you may receive a full refund if cancelled within seven days. If the goods have already been shipped the refund will be made (less postage cost) on return of the goods. Faulty CDs or DVDs will either be replaced or you may have a refund, as you wish. If you prefer a refund it will be initiated on receipt by us of the faulty goods. In this case the refund will be the full amount, including postage. If you prefer a replacement we'll do it straight away.
For photographic prints we'll provide an immediate replacement.
CD and DVD licence terms
Each CD or DVD (called "CD" below) is issued subject to the following conditions.
1 All content is issued without warranty of any kind (defective CDs will be replaced free of charge). The information provided is intended to be of a general nature. No liability is accepted for any loss or damage that results from use of the CD, including consequential damage, however caused.
2 All material contained on the web site and any CD is copyright Stuart Barry or Digital Dimensions Limited. No reproduction in any form is allowed without the written permission of Stuart Barry, other than a single backup copy for personal use.
Wedding photographs
1. Copyright in the photographs belongs to the The Photographer (Stuart Barry). The Client (as on each contract)
may not reproduce any image or authorize reproduction by any means whatsoever, including copying
with a still or video camera, scanning into a computer or any form of photocopying. The Photographer
may licence the Client the right to reproduce prints as indicated on each individual contract. The Photographer’s
copyright is not otherwise lessened or affected by this specific assignment of rights.
2. All original digital material belongs to the Photographer. Tthe person commissioning the photography
agrees that the photographer may publish or exhibit the photographs or enter them for a
competition but not use them in any other commercial manner without further authorisation. Publishing
includes exhibiting on the Photographer’s web site.
3. The Photographer is granted artistic licence in relation to the poses, locations and sound used.
The Photographer’s judgement regarding locations, poses, number of images and sound recorded
taken shall be deemed to be correct. The Photographer does not take responsibility for failure to take
images or for sound or image quality where circumstances are beyond his control.
4. In the event that the Photographer is unable to fulfil his obligations under this contract due to
forces beyond his control, the Photographer’s liability shall be limited to a full refund of fees paid.
5. If the wedding is cancelled within three months of the planned date then the full fee is payable.
6. If the Client fails to choose photographs within the time allowed for the package chosen the
Photographer is not obliged to provide the prints or album.
